In July of this year, the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development (DMPED) selected four teams to develop proposals for the redevelopment of the historic Franklin School (facing the east side of Franklin Square). On Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 5:30 – 8:00 pm at Thomson Elementary School Auditorium (1200 L Street, NW), the four teams (Abdo Development, Douglas Development, ICE-DC, and Lowe Enterprises) will present their development visions of the site to the community.
