The Logan Circle Community Association (LCCA) and ANC2F are co-hosting a forum at which our school’s administrators and parent leaders are the featured guests!
Representatives from Garrison, Ross, Seaton, and Thomson elementary schools, School Without Walls Francis-Stevens Education Campus and Cardozo High School have been invited to update parents, community leaders, businesses and concerned residents on their progress, challenges and priorities ahead. These schools are in-boundary for LCCA residents who have the right to attend one or more of these schools. (See attached map of school boundaries — LCCA boundaries are in red). All are invited and we have asked that this invitation be shared with the entire school community — PTAs and LSATs, staff, parents, students and partners.
For the past several years now, LCCA and ANC2F have worked to cultivate strong relationships with DCPS neighborhood schools. We have held Logan Circle meetings with schools in the past and we have partnered with the W2EdNetwork which includes Dupont, Foggy Bottom and Georgetown. This year we decided to renew the focus on our Logan Circle schools. We have many new civic actors on the scene, a 70% new LCCA board, and newly elected co-chairs of the ANC2F Education Committee. We wanted to take the opportunity to refresh our knowledge of and relationships with our neighborhood schools.
